“The arms on the barbed wire fences are pointing out.” That was one of the first lessons I received in basic training. It’s easy to get wrapped up in a group imposed illusion, giving into a sense of being trapped and in danger. You’re in your situation because you chose it, and you intend to go on with it. You could just walk out the front gate - no need to climb that fence. Barbed wire facing away is not designed to keep you in.
